Dear prospective Australian migration applicant,

The laws governing migration to Australia are complicated and change frequently.   Knowing the correct visa class to apply for from the large number available is difficult and confusing.   Intricate procedures/documentation (especially for business migration) are demanding and leave many potential applicants bewildered and uncertain as to their prospects of success.  There are also expensive application fees in some visa classes and decisions from the Department of Immigration can take considerable time.  Because of all this, it is essential for the potential applicant to seek professional advice and assistance instead of making the application themselves by trial and error.

I, Donna Au Yeung of  Australian Link Migration and Business Consultancy, am committed to providing high quality visa and migration services for business, individuals or families wishing to come to Australia.  I am a Migration Agent registered by the Migration Agents Registration Authority under the provisions of the Australian Immigration Act and Regulations. All registered Migration Agents must meet demanding qualification requirements for registration, which include a  sound knowledge of Australian Migration Law and procedures, be of good character and ethical. We abide by the Migration Agents Code of Conduct.

Prior to working as a Registered Migration Agent I had more than 20 years experience working in the business field. In fact I started to gain my business experience when I was a child by observing my parents running their business.  I have also worked for some of the largest companies in the garment export business in Hong Kong holding a variety of management positions.  In 1990, I became a director of an export company.  Working in the export business field allowed me to have chances to travel extensively to many countries in the world and have an understanding of the culture of different countries.  In terms of language, I can speak and write fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

In 1993, I completed a Master of Business Administration course at the University of New England in Australia.   I have also finished an Immigration Law course of the Deakin University in Australia and passed the examination at distinction level.  My professional memberships include:  Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. and Member of the Migration Institute of Australia.

With the experience I have gained in processing economic and family migration application, I have successfully obtained citizenships of Australia and the United Kingdom/European Community, as well as permanent residence of Singapore for myself.

My academic background and experience form the basis of my competence in the areas of migration and business services; such as providing advice regarding Migration Law and visa options as well as requirements of supporting document. I also process the necessary application forms and supplementary documents on your behalf in a professional way. The visa application will be accompanied by a detailed submission, addressing the relevant legal issues to maximise your chance of success.

For business migration, with my sound knowledge in business practice and Australian Migration Law,  coupled with the understanding of the Australian business environment, I am in a good position to conduct business research / identify business opportunities / write business reports and proposals for you in Australia based on the requirements  of  the  Migration Law to support your visa application.  .

After lodgement of the application on your behalf, we will follow up on its processing and liaise with the processing officer of the Australian Immigration Department/Embassy. In the meantime, we will brief you on your subsequent interviews with the immigration officer and responses to processing questions.  Our services do not stop until a final decision has been made on your visa application.

As a migrant myself,  I am aware of the problems migrants face as well as the lifestyle benefits  migration can bring. With the understanding of what is involved in migrating to a new country, I can therefore relate to the circumstances in which migrants find themselves. By applying this knowledge, I can provide the prospective migrants with a complete spectrum of tailor made immigration related services (such as business brokerage, employment, purchase of property, property and business management etc.), through my association with many other professionals. I also use my knowledge and experience in education consulting and student visa application procedures to provide advice and assistance to overseas students who wish to study in Australia.

Going to another country for either migration or for educational reasons is a big decision and often a daunting process.  I sincerely hope that our professional advice and services will be of help to you in creating a bright future in Australia.
